Two Outaouais artists meet.
A fusion of their respective artistic practices.
Entrelacés questions the idea of virtuosity when in search of true expression.
Through spontaneous collaborative improvisation, Tap dance artist David Lafleur and pianist Deniz Lim-Sersan create a living soundscape in which their interests and experiences can intimately collide, clash, argue, echo and unite.
Using the conventions of jazz music as a springboard, the performers open up the space for exploration and discovery through the use of technology. While sharing their process with audiences, they seek to link the past, present and future of Tap dance, exploring the distinctive history of their artistic approaches.
