M/W/D: Sentiment du moi
30-minutes, 2024
Selection from Futur Danse program by La danse sur les routes du Québec, touring across Québec (February 2025)
M/W/D: Sentiment du moi, initially commissioned by the Toronto International Tap Dance Festival in partnership with the Harbourfront Centre Theatre (2022), features four dancers and a trio of musicians. Performed using tap dance and jazz music, this piece reflects our ongoing artistic development. The symbolism represents part of our own journeys toward the self, through our relationship with this shared cultural and historical language. By dissecting and reconstructing our respective approaches, the resulting energy becomes a collection of poems.
